# Sharing links

The seven links in an EasyWebinar webinar's Share dialog, from the registration page link you promote to the one-click registration, attendee, co-presenter, moderator and replay links, and who each one is for.

Every EasyWebinar webinar generates seven links, and the **Share** button on the webinar's header shows them all in one dialog. One is the public registration link you promote; others let a known contact register in one click, let attendees join, let a co-presenter or moderator into the room, and send people to the replay. The dialog also holds the **Registration Widget** embed code, a **Share on social media** section, and a **Shorten URL's** toggle for shorter versions of every link.

## At a glance {#at-a-glance}

| Link | Who you send it to | Keep it private? |
|---|---|---|
| **Registration Page Link** | Your audience. This is the one you promote | No |
| **One-Click Registration Link** | An existing list; it carries name and email in the URL | Send it only to the contacts it belongs to |
| **Attendee Join Link** | Registered attendees, to enter the live session | No, it's for your audience |
| **Attendee Replay link** | People watching the recording afterwards | No, it's for your audience |
| **Co-presenter Join Link** | A presenter, so they can join the room | Yes |
| **Moderator Join Link for Live room** | A moderator, to handle chat and questions | Yes |
| **Thank You Page Link** | Rarely sent directly: it's where registrants land after signing up | Not usually shared |

## What the Share dialog is {#what-it-is}

The Share dialog is the single place to copy any link a webinar produces. Click **Share** on the webinar's header and the dialog opens with three groups:

| Group | What's in it |
|---|---|
| **Share Links** | The seven links in the table above |
| **Registration Widget** | The embed code that puts your registration form on your own site |
| **Share on social media** | Sharing the webinar on social networks |

A **Shorten URL's** toggle gives you shorter versions.

The links fall into three kinds. **Audience links** (registration, one-click registration, attendee join, attendee replay) are meant for the people watching. **Team links** (co-presenter and moderator) let someone into the room in a role, so they're private. The **Thank You Page Link** is where registrants arrive on their own, so you rarely need it.

## Why sharing links matter {#why-it-matters}

### What it's for {#what-its-for}

A webinar has several audiences at once. Some people still need to register, some are already registered, and some missed the session. Others are helping you run it. The Share dialog gives each group its own way in, from one screen.

### How it helps {#how-it-helps}

- **No hunting for links.** Every link for the webinar sits in one dialog, a click from the Overview.
- **Guests don't need accounts.** A co-presenter or moderator joins with a link, without an EasyWebinar login.
- **Known contacts skip the form.** The **One-Click Registration Link** registers someone whose details you already hold.
- **Shorter links when you need them.** **Shorten URL's** makes links easier to fit in a post or a text.

### What happens without it {#without-it}

Without role links, the only way to bring a guest speaker into the room is to give them access to your account. Without a one-click link, every contact you invite from your own list retypes details you already hold. Some of them won't bother, and those registrations are lost.

### Why buyers care {#why-buyers-care}

This matters most to teams that bring outside speakers onto their webinars and promote to lists they already own. It shows up in the week before a session, when links go out to speakers, moderators, customers and the wider audience at once.

## The EasyWebinar approach to sharing links {#approach}

{/* 5P */}

Take a typical case. A podcast network with six shows hosts a monthly live webinar where a guest from one show gives a talk. The network's producer runs the session and a show host interviews the guest. Promotion goes out on every show's feed and newsletter, and the guest has never used the network's webinar account.

A common workaround is to send the guest a shared login, or a link that drops them straight in front of the audience. That can mean passwords passed around and a guest testing their microphone in public. Long registration URLs in show notes are also awkward to read aloud or retype.

The guest doesn't need an account; they need a way into the room for one evening. Listeners don't need a different page; they need a link short enough for show notes. Newsletter subscribers the network already knows shouldn't have to fill in a form again.

EasyWebinar puts each of those links in the webinar's **Share** dialog. The producer sends the guest the **Co-presenter Join Link** and a colleague the **Moderator Join Link for Live room**. Both join without a login and wait backstage until they're brought on. The producer turns on **Shorten URL's** for the show notes and emails the **One-Click Registration Link** to subscribers.

The screenshot under Open the Share dialog shows the co-presenter, moderator and one-click registration links in a single list. How other platforms handle presenter links, one-click registration and short links is covered in How sharing links compare, below.

## Open the Share dialog {#open-share-dialog}

1. Click **My Webinars** in the sidebar and open the webinar.
2. On the **Overview** tab, click **Share** on the webinar's header, next to **Registration Page**.
3. Turn on **Shorten URL's** if you want shorter versions.
4. Copy the link you need.

*1 Registration Widget · 2 Share on social media · 3 One-Click Registration Link.*

## The seven links {#the-seven-links}

### Registration Page Link {#registration-page-link}

The public link to your registration page, and the one you [promote in ads, emails and posts](https://easywebinar.com/blog/how-to-promote-and-market-webinars/). It only works once the registration page has been published in the [page builder](https://maximuslabs-ai.github.io/easywebinar-product-docs/product-docs/webinars/registration/registration-page-builder/#publish); saving alone isn't enough.

### One-Click Registration Link {#one-click-registration-link}

A link for an existing list. It carries the person's name and email in the URL, so a known contact [registers without filling in the form](https://easywebinar.com/blog/one-click-webinar-registration-solution/). Because it depends on details you already hold, it only works for contacts you already have. Use it in emails to your own list, where you know who each recipient is.

### Attendee Join Link {#attendee-join-link}

For registered attendees, to enter the live session. Registrants also receive a join link in the [**Registration Confirmation** email](https://maximuslabs-ai.github.io/easywebinar-product-docs/product-docs/webinars/notifications/confirmation-emails/#review-confirmation), which is sent the moment someone registers. That's why it's the one email you shouldn't turn off.

### Attendee Replay link {#attendee-replay-link}

For people watching the recording afterwards. It's the same link as the **Replay Page Link** on the webinar's **Replay** tab, where you also [turn the replay page on](https://maximuslabs-ai.github.io/easywebinar-product-docs/product-docs/webinars/media/replay-pages/#set-it-up) with **Enable replay page**.

![The Replay tab with replay settings, the replay page link, availability, redirects and experience options](https://maximuslabs-ai.github.io/easywebinar-product-docs/product-docs/images/replay/step-01-replay-settings.png)

*1 Replay Settings · 2 Replay Page Link · 3 Availability · 4 Redirects · 5 Experience.*

Once the page is enabled it reads *Replay page is live, anyone with the link can watch*, so treat the replay link as public. Replay emails aren't set up here: add a **Webinar Follow-up** on the **Notifications** tab and include the replay link.

### Co-presenter Join Link {#co-presenter-join-link}

For a presenter, so they can join the room. They don't need an EasyWebinar account to use it. When a co-host or moderator joins a live session, they [land backstage, not on stage](https://maximuslabs-ai.github.io/easywebinar-product-docs/product-docs/webinars/live-room/green-room/#manage-backstage), and your audience doesn't see or hear them until you move them to the stage.

### Moderator Join Link for Live room {#moderator-join-link}

For a moderator, to handle chat and [questions](https://maximuslabs-ai.github.io/easywebinar-product-docs/product-docs/webinars/engagement/questions-answers/#moderators). Like the co-presenter link, it works without an account. It's also a handy way to check your own webinar from the inside: on a recorded webinar with an [embedded third-party chat](https://maximuslabs-ai.github.io/easywebinar-product-docs/product-docs/webinars/engagement/live-chat/#third-party-chat), joining with the **Moderator Join Link** lets you look at the side panel.

> **Treat presenter and moderator links as private**
> Anyone holding the **Co-presenter Join Link** or the **Moderator Join Link for Live room** can join your room in that role. Send them only to the people who should have them. The registration, attendee and replay links are the ones meant for your audience.

### Thank You Page Link {#thank-you-page-link}

Where registrants land after signing up. You'll rarely send it to anyone, but it's useful for checking the page yourself.

## Shorten the links {#shorten-links}

Turn on **Shorten URL's** in the Share dialog to get shorter versions of the links. If you send join and replay links from a [connected CRM](https://easywebinar.com/integrations/), the integration's **Custom fields** tab offers short versions there too: **Webinar Join Short Link** and **Webinar Replay Short Link**, alongside the full **Webinar Join Link** and **Webinar Replay Link**.

## How sharing links work with other features {#works-with}

### Team & Moderators {#with-team-and-moderators}

The [**Team & Moderators** panel](https://maximuslabs-ai.github.io/easywebinar-product-docs/product-docs/webinars/setup/overview-tab/#team-and-moderators) on the Overview is the other way to bring people into a webinar: **Add presenter** adds someone who appears on camera and presents, and **Invite** sends an invitation to join the webinar team. A join link suits a guest on one session; adding someone to your [account team](https://maximuslabs-ai.github.io/easywebinar-product-docs/product-docs/account/team-members/#add-a-team-member) suits people who work in EasyWebinar regularly.

### The live room {#with-live-room}

Inside the room, the **People** panel's **Invite People** shares join links for presenters and moderators, so you can bring someone in after you've entered the green room. See [Run a live webinar](https://maximuslabs-ai.github.io/easywebinar-product-docs/product-docs/webinars/live-room/run-a-live-webinar/).

### Registration Widget {#with-registration-widget}

The Share dialog's **Registration Widget** holds the same embed snippet as the **Content** tab. Use it to [put the form on your own site](https://maximuslabs-ai.github.io/easywebinar-product-docs/product-docs/webinars/registration/registration-embeds/#add-to-your-site) instead of sharing a link.

### Your CRM {#with-crm}

A connected CRM can receive each attendee's personal join link and replay link through the **Custom fields** tab. Mapping the join link is what lets you [send reminders from your CRM](https://maximuslabs-ai.github.io/easywebinar-product-docs/product-docs/integrations/map-webinar-data/#reminders-from-crm) instead of EasyWebinar, with each contact getting their own working link.

### How the links look when shared {#with-social-sharing}

**Social Sharing** on the webinar's **Settings** tab, and **Social Sharing (Open Graph)** in the page builder, control how your link looks when someone shares it.

### Your domain {#with-domain}

Every public link includes your subdomain, ending in `.easywebinar.live`, including the links in your emails. The [**C-Name** add-on](https://maximuslabs-ai.github.io/easywebinar-product-docs/product-docs/reference/limits-and-defaults/#add-ons) lets links use your own domain instead. Changing your subdomain changes your existing links, so anything already shared will break; set it before you promote.

### Expired links {#with-expired-session}

**Expired Session** on the webinar's **Settings → General** tab sets where people go if their link no longer works. It's empty by default, so fill it in with a page that tells people what to do next.

## Who uses sharing links, and how {#who-uses-it}

These are typical patterns, shown to illustrate how each link fits a different job.

### Agencies {#agencies}

An [agency runs a webinar for a client](https://easywebinar.com/solutions/marketing-agencies/) whose founder is the speaker. The agency sends the founder the **Co-presenter Join Link** and its own team member the **Moderator Join Link for Live room**. Neither needs a login to the agency's account, and the founder [waits backstage](https://maximuslabs-ai.github.io/easywebinar-product-docs/product-docs/webinars/live-room/green-room/#read-the-room) until the host brings them on.

### B2B marketing teams {#b2b-marketing}

A [marketing team](https://easywebinar.com/solutions/marketing-teams/) promotes the **Registration Page Link** in ads and social posts with **Shorten URL's** on. For an email to existing customers, it uses the **One-Click Registration Link**, so customers register without retyping details the team already holds.

### Customer success teams {#customer-success}

A [customer success team](https://easywebinar.com/solutions/customer-success-teams/) runs a training webinar for existing customers. It emails the **One-Click Registration Link** to the customer list, then sends the **Attendee Replay link** in a follow-up to everyone who couldn't attend live.

### Course creators {#course-creators}

A [course creator](https://maximuslabs-ai.github.io/easywebinar-product-docs/product-docs/use-cases/sell-courses/#the-replay) sends no-shows the [replay link](https://easywebinar.com/blog/using-webinar-replays-to-increase-sales/) in a **Webinar Follow-up** after the session, and maps the join link into their email tool so [reminders come from their own system](https://maximuslabs-ai.github.io/easywebinar-product-docs/product-docs/webinars/notifications/reminder-emails/#with-crm).

## How sharing links compare {#compare}

EasyWebinar puts one-click registration, join links for co-presenters and moderators, and a toggle for shorter links in the same Share dialog. EasyWebinar is the only platform in this table that does all three.

Sharing link features, from each platform's public documentation:

| Platform | One-click registration link | Join links for presenters and moderators | Shorter versions of your links |
|---|---|---|---|
| **EasyWebinar** | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| **Demio** | Yes | Yes (no Demio account needed) | Not in docs |
| **WebinarJam and EverWebinar** | Yes | Yes (two links each) | Not in docs |
| **WebinarKit** | Yes | Not in docs | Partly (text message keyword) |
| **eWebinar** | Yes (instant join links) | Not in docs | Not in docs |

*Yes: documented and built in. Partly: documented with a limit, shown in brackets. Not in docs: not found in the vendor's public documentation.*

### Why EasyWebinar is the stronger choice for sharing links {#compare-stronger}

- **Shorter links from the Share dialog.** EasyWebinar's **Shorten URL's** toggle gives you shorter versions of the webinar's links. WebinarJam's help centre doesn't document a link shortener, as the [EasyWebinar vs WebinarJam and EverWebinar](https://easywebinar.com/compare/easywebinar-vs-everwebinar-webinarjam/) comparison shows.
- **Short links for any channel.** EasyWebinar's shorter links work in posts, emails and show notes alike. WebinarKit documents its short link as a keyword for its text messages, covered in [EasyWebinar vs WebinarKit](https://easywebinar.com/compare/easywebinar-vs-webinarkit/).
- **Guest speakers and moderators by link.** EasyWebinar's **Co-presenter Join Link** and **Moderator Join Link for Live room** let people join without an account. eWebinar's help centre doesn't document presenter or moderator join links, as [EasyWebinar vs eWebinar](https://easywebinar.com/compare/easywebinar-vs-ewebinar/) sets out.

*Competitor details checked against each vendor's public documentation on 21 October 2026. Features and plans change, so confirm with the vendor before you decide.*

## Limits and things to know {#limits}

- **The registration link needs a published page.** Publish the registration page before you promote the link.
- **The one-click link only works for known contacts.** It carries name and email in the URL.
- **Presenter and moderator links grant access.** Anyone holding one can join your room in that role.
- **The replay link is public while the replay page is on.** Anyone with it can watch.
- **Your subdomain is in every link.** Changing it breaks links you've already sent.
- **Integrations are per webinar.** Mapping join and replay links into a CRM is set up on each webinar.

## Common questions {#common-questions}

#### Where do I get the link to promote my webinar? {#faq-promote}

Click **Share** and copy the **Registration Page Link**. That's the public one.

#### Why doesn't my registration link work? {#faq-link-broken}

The registration page needs to be published. Open it in the page builder and click **Publish**.

#### Can someone register without filling in the form? {#faq-one-click}

Yes, with the **One-Click Registration Link**. It carries their name and email in the URL, so it only works for contacts you already have.

#### How do I let a guest speaker into the room? {#faq-guest-speaker}

Send them the **Co-presenter Join Link** from the Share dialog, or add them under **Team & Moderators** on the Overview.

#### Does a co-presenter need an EasyWebinar account? {#faq-account-needed}

No. Presenters and moderators can join with a link without having an account.

#### Will my co-presenter appear on screen as soon as they join? {#faq-backstage}

No. A co-host or moderator who joins lands backstage. Your audience doesn't see or hear them until you move them to the stage.

#### Can I shorten these links? {#faq-shorten}

Yes. Turn on **Shorten URL's** in the Share dialog.

#### Where's the replay link? {#faq-replay-link}

In the Share dialog, as **Attendee Replay link**, and on the **Replay** tab as **Replay Page Link**. Turn on **Enable replay page** first.

#### Who can watch my replay? {#faq-replay-access}

Anyone with the link, while the replay page is enabled.

#### Can I send each attendee their own join link from my CRM? {#faq-crm-join-link}

Yes. Map **Webinar Join Link** to a custom field in your CRM on the integration's **Custom fields** tab.

#### Can my links use my own domain? {#faq-own-domain}

Yes, with the **C-Name** add-on and a CNAME record at your DNS provider.
